During your time here at St. Joseph's, we're going to be involved with you as a student, because we know that's where the success comes from on the field or court. We're going to make sure you're going to graduate in four years, take the courses you, want when you want them, and we're going to schedule practices around your class schedule.
It was easy coming into this school as an athlete, because I instantly had that group of 20 friends. And not only are we friends on the team, but we're and we consider each other family. At the end of every practice, that's what we say when we get together in our huddles. It's really important that we're not just friends, but we're there for each other on and off the field.
The best part about being a student athlete here is the culture and community that we have at St. Joseph's. A lot of us are student athletes, and you feel like you're part of something bigger.
Being a Monk is unique. Not only are we the only ones in the country with that mascot, but we're asking our athletes to be unique, to be different, to be uncommon. And that's what we're trying to have our student athletes feel, that we can be different, and we can achieve those successes here at St. Joseph's. If you want to play for championships, and you want to get a great job when you leave here, this is the place for you.
